IT Hardware Technician (iSCSI NAS / SAN) London onsite

Opportunity to progress your career as an IT Hardware Technician at a really cool media technology company that product large scale graphics and video content used by huge global stars at live concerts and venues across the globe e.g. Adele, U2 and the 360 Sphere in Las Vegas.

As an IT Hardware Technician you will be responsible for all day-to-day hardware configuration and maintenance, organisation of hardware assets and operating system licenses and Level 3 switch management as well as technical documentation and network topology.

You'll join a small team with opportunities to get involved in multiple areas, with continual learning opportunities and the capability to shape your role. You'll be empowered to research and test the latest technologies, carrying out Proof of Concept trials and recommending new hardware as it becomes available.

Location:

You'll join a friendly and creative team, based in the London Bridge office on a fulltime basis with working hours of 1000-1900 Monday to Friday.

Please note you may occasionally need to travel to set up hardware at international sites / shows.

About you:

• You have experience in a similar IT Technical / Support role
• You have experience within a media, creative environment at a scaling or SME company
• You have a solid understanding of ISCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface), TCP/IP, networking
• You understand computer hardware designs and builds including NAS / SAN architecture and network hardware topology
• You have experience of troubleshooting IT hardware issues and strong problem solving skills
• You have experience of rolling out new workstations and setting up and maintaining Virtual Machines
• You're collaborative with great communication and stakeholder management skills
