As a Junior Python Developer, you'll design, test, deploy, and maintain the company's VFX pipeline and will be writing tools in Python to support the Visual Effects team. You'll collaborate with a small team of talented Software Developers, Assistant Technical Directors, and Tech Support on a variety of exciting projects, using a diverse, modern technology stack including Python, Qt, and Shotgun in a TDD environment.

Based in London, you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team. You won't be expected to be in the office every day and can work remotely is preferred.

Requirements:

  • You have previous Python software development experience and enjoy writing clean, efficient code
  • You have a passion for VFX and films
  • You have experience with some of the following tools: QT via Python, Nuke, Mari, Hiero; render management software such as Deadline, Tractor, Grid Engine; Nuke/Maya API development and Shotgun toolkit
  • You ideally have a degree in VFX or Computer Science with VFX placement experience
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
