Senior Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Java Spring Boot) Sweden 70,000 SEK p/month

Are you a backend focussed Senior Java Developer with and an interest in Cryptocurrency?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a successful and growing Cryptocurrency trading and market data platform.

As a Senior Java Developer you'll focus on Java backend development, building new features and improving scalability within an AWS DevOps environment with CI/CD, as the user base continues to grow.

As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of projects whilst also collaborating with colleagues and promoting best practices within an Agile development environment where you'll see the results of your work.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, however you must be based in Sweden and be commutable to one of the following cities: Stockholm, Malmo or Gothenburg for regular team meet-ups.

About you:

• You have strong backend Java development experience including Spring Boot microservices
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• You have good SQL database skills
• You have a strong appreciation of DevOps practices, AWS, CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
• You have a good understanding of scalability and distributed systems
• You have fluent English language skills
• You have Swedish residency
