Senior Security Incident Responder New York to $300,000+

Do you have experience of responding to major cyber security incidents within a Windows environment combined with a first class education?

You could be progressing your career, in a senior, hands-on Security Incident Responder role at a leading Quantitative Trading firm.

As a Senior Security Incident Responder, you will provide subject matter expertise, respond to major security incidents and seek to automate wherever possible to reduce the amount of manual work in responding to more minor threats. You'll join a team of security engineers, analysts and specialists, collaborating to ensure the overall security of all the firms' systems and technology, in a supportive, diverse environment.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in the New York office, with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.

About you:

• You are experienced in responding to major cyber security incidents within a Windows environment, it would be great if you also have Linux experience but it's not essential
• You have advanced skills with forensic analysis to investigate potential breaches with supporting documentation to determine the attack vectors, the scope of the incident and affected systems
• You have scripting / coding skills, PowerShell preferred
• You're naturally curious with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• You're able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, you're a team player who enjoys learning
• You are degree educated from an Ivy league university
• You are a US citizen or have the right to work without restrictions
