Senior Full Stack Developer / Engineer (React Python C# .Net) New York to $300,000

Do you have expertise with React combined with a strong Python and an appreciation of .Net backend systems?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a Hedge Fund with over $10 billion under management.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer you will work on a large scale project to migrate legacy C# .Net code to Python and React across a range of systems. You'll work across the full technology stack, designing and developing high quality software that combines outstanding user experiences with scalable, cloud-native backend services.

With a strong focus on React, you'll create responsive, performant user interfaces, transforming complex business workflows into elegant, user-friendly applications. You'll build reusable front-end components while collaborating on application architecture and integrating seamlessly with backend services built in .NET and Python.

On the server side, you'll contribute to the development of REST APIs, authentication and security, data services and cloud-based applications, working with technologies including .NET 6+, C#, Python, SQL Server and Redis. You'll also help deliver reliable, production-ready software through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

There's a range of Greenfield projects to get stuck into and you'll see the results of your work quickly.

Location / WFH:

You'll join colleagues in the New York office with flexibility to work from home once a week (Friday); there's a friendly and collaborative environment with casual dress code and a range of facilities.

About you:

• You have experience within a similar financial services environment
• You have strong full stack development experience
• You have strong Python and C# backend skills
• You have expertise with React including (hooks, context, state management: Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
• You have strong experience with responsive design, accessibility and cross-platform compatibility
• You have experience of working with complex, data centric applications
• You have a good understanding of databases including Microsoft SQL Server
• You have REST API experience
• You're familiar with CI/CD, Azure, DevOps, GitHub Actions
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
