Application Support Engineer (API JIRA Confluence). Would you like to join a collaborative team of talented individuals working on high availability solutions where you can learn and improve your skillset and enjoy perks such as a monthly team entertainment budget?
As an Application Support Engineer you will join a small, dedicated team to support web based systems for one of the core products that provides TV streaming products / applications to a range of broadcasters and media providers. You'll focus on major motor sports events, supporting the live product during the event with a particular focus on ingest and system integrations with 3rd parties.
You'll be working with engineers using a range of technologies across the stack including Python, JavaScript, iOS, Android and SmartTV development. You'll be based in a fashionable area of London with plenty going on, cool modern offices with casual dress code and the latest kit.
Requirements:
*Experience of managing live applications including reviewing performance, stability, log files etc.
*Experience working with APIs, including manual consumption to maintain data
*Ability to understand complex multi-party end-to-end systems
*Experience communicating directly with clients and providing customer service on digital products
*Experience with JIRA Service Desk and Confluence
